Nice restaurant, food good, we had half ribs with chips and fillet steak.
Absolutely class spot. My family has came here many times and every single time was better than the last. If I could could recommend any restaurant in Gold Coast it would be Mikes kitchen. This occasion we ordered the classic ribs. These ribs were perfectly tender and perfectly slipped right off the bone as it was smothered in a delicous sweet and savoury bbq sauce. And what’s more tyw full rack was only $60 and could easily feed 3-4 people. A hidden gem on the menu is the burgers. The Aussie burger is jam packed with toppings a delicous beef pattary and comes with a serving of Chips. This was easiest one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. As always the deserts were so good the milk tart is our personal favourite and hit the spot perfectly. The milk tart had a. silky smooth milk custard and was on a perfectly delicous biscuit base.
Nice atmosphere and great food! The ribs and steak combo was absolutely delicious. A great pick! The sticky date pudding was excellent as well. Highly recommend!
The snails were tender and well seasoned. The fried mushrooms were super fragrant and didn’t need any sauce at all. The pork chop was a very generous portion. The salad was fresh but slightly salty. Overall really tasty food.
Mikes kitchen is ONE OF THE BEST restaurants on the GC. Been coming for years and the service and ribs are also consistently great. A great place for groups and birthdays. You definitely need to book. Its a great atmosphere and the food will not disappoint.
A Texan style barbecue house with large portions in a no frills location with an unpaved parking lot. Great ribs and beer. You won't go wrong with the beef- Avoid the chicken schnitzel- subpar with ham missing. Restaurant was cold with no heating- our requests were ignored. prices a little high for the venue but the food makes up for it. Book well in advance. Dress warm in winter.
Easily the best ribs I’ve ever had!!! We keep coming back here because everything is consistently amazing. The ribs are always tender and full of flavour, and the sizzling snails are so good too! Honestly, everything we’ve tried has been delicious. The service is always friendly, attentive, and welcoming which makes the experience even better. Will definitely keep coming back and I’ll always recommend this place to everyone!

We enjoyed the full set of ribs, steak, calamari, burgers and the cheese bread — everything was delicious and full of flavour! 🤤🍖🥩🍔🦑🧀 The ribs were so tender and tasty, the steak was cooked beautifully, and the calamari and burgers were absolutely delicious. And the cheese bread was the perfect addition! The portions were generous, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. We had such a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed every dish. Highly recommend Mike’s Kitchen if you’re looking for delicious food, generous portions and a great dining experience. Incredible food & amazing service. Easily some of the best steak on the Gold Coast, but not pretentious either. They know how to cook a rare steak without it being a bloody mess. Ribs were beautiful too - even the kids ones! Sauce was delicious and portions great. It’s a nice, family restaurant that knows what works and they do it well. Our server Zeke was amazing, so polite and friendly especially for a young man. Food came out within 20 minutes of ordering. The only thing I’d love to know is what brand of port they serve as it was delicious! Will 100% be coming back again.
Had a great meal at Mike’s Kitchen. The steaks were cooked to perfection juicy, perfectly seasoned, and exactly how I ordered them. I chose the mushroom sauce which was alright. The ribs were decent too, solid flavour and tender enough. I definitely like their steaks more than their ribs. Service was friendly and easy, no fuss at all. The whole environment has a nice, relaxed vibe that makes it feel welcoming. Good food, good people, good night overall. Will definitely be back next time
